3rd Shift - Batch Assistant

Essential Functions
Select and measure or weigh ingredients, using English or metric measures.
Follow recipes to produce food products of specified flavor, texture, clarity, bouquet, or color.
Fill processing or cooking containers, such as kettles, rotating cookers, pressure cookers, or vats, with ingredients, by opening valves, by starting pumps or injectors, or by hand.
Clean and sterilize vats and factory processing areas.
Accurately move and split ingredients in the DAX system and properly document.
Regular and Predictable Attendance Required
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience in a food manufacturing facility a plus
Can read, write and speak English.
Proficient at basic addition and subtraction.
Understands temperature and weight measures.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 11pm-7:30am
- Will require one week of training on 1st shift
Attendance Requirements:
The Batch Assistant position is a skilled position that requires regular and predictable attendance in order to ensure customer needs are consistently met. In order to be successful and remain in this role, employees must not miss more than one (1) day during their initial training period and must maintain attendance points below eight (8) at all times. Anyone in this role who reaches eight (8) or more attendance points, or who misses more than one (1) day during their initial training period, will be removed from the position and placed in a non-skilled role at the applicable rate of pay for that role.
