2nd shift Filler Operator

Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Set up filling machine, readying it for production.
Observe machine(s) operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled products to standards. Adjust machine(s) as necessary to gain or maintain compliance.
Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, troubleshooting as necessary and communicating with supervision and maintenance as necessary.
Record production and test data regularly, such as temperature, test results, and cycle time.
*Perform more frequent checks when running a line with a Filler Assistant.
Replenish packaging supplies, such as pouches and caps.
Ensure pouches and caps match the descriptions provided on the filling sheets.
Ensure coder is operational and code printed onto pouch is correct.
Perform regular product quality checks, ensuring product meets specifications.

Complete documentation.
Perform basic machine cleaning procedures.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience running and troubleshooting machinery preferred
Experience in a food manufacturing facility a plus
Can read, write and speak English
Proficient at basic addition and subtraction
Understands temperature and weight measures
Attendance Requirements:
The Filler position is a skilled position that requires regular and predictable attendance in order to ensure customer needs are consistently met. In order to be successful and remain in this role, employees must not miss more than one (1) day during their initial training period and must maintain attendance points below eight (8) at all times. Anyone in this role who reaches eight (8) or more attendance points, or who misses more than one (1) day during their initial training period, will be removed from the position and placed in a non-skilled role at the applicable rate of pay for that role.
