Who we need

Reporting to the Director of Finance, we are hiring a Plant Controller to serve as a strategic business partner for our Indiana facility. As our new Plant Controller, you will drive informed decision-making and operational efficiency by providing critical financial insights. Your responsibilities will include budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support revenue growth, cost optimization, and profitability. As a key member of the Plant Leadership Team, you will collaborate cross-functionally with the Operations, Warehouse, Quality, Safety, and Maintenance teams, ensuring financial accountability and adherence to budgetary targets. You will oversee financial planning, analysis, costing, and consolidation of financial statements while enforcing spending controls to maintain financial discipline.

This is a full-time hybrid role requiring three days per week onsite in Lebanon, Indiana.

How you will make an impact:

  • Support operations. As a key financial partner to the Operations, Warehouse, Quality, Safety, and Maintenance teams, you will provide data-driven insights that align financial strategy with business objectives. Your financial modeling, forecasting, and budget planning expertise will drive informed decision-making, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.
  • Manage financials. You will oversee all site financials, monitoring and analyzing results to enhance profitability and efficiency. Working closely with the Plant Leadership Team, you will develop the annual plant budget, manage total site P&L, and oversee capital planning, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support business goals. Additionally, you will monitor manufacturing costs, analyze variances, and identify areas for cost reduction, driving continuous financial improvement.
  • Ensure accuracy and financial visibility. You will lead month-end close activities, including account analysis, journal entries, financial reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations. By developing daily KPIs, weekly dashboards, and monthly forecasts, you will provide critical visibility into financial performance and uncover opportunities for efficiency gains.
  • Maintain compliance. You will ensure adherence to financial compliance standards, support annual audit requests, and uphold internal controls. You will conduct cycle counts for maintenance spare parts and participate in year-end inventory counts, spare parts audits, and close activities.

What you bring:

  • Financial expertise. You have a strong management accounting background and experience in finance or a related field, with supervisory experience. You excel at analyzing financial data and driving business decisions. Manufacturing industry exposure is highly preferred. You are proficient in MS Excel, and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI is a strong asset. CMA or CPA candidates will be given special consideration.
